Funeral services were held at the Mitchell Baptist Church, Monday, Sept. 20, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. E. C. Browning officiating. Interment was in the Mitchell Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Surviving relatives are three sons, Elmer Lee Dixon of Anacoco, Dempsey, and Louis Dixon, both of Hornbeck; two daughters, Mrs. Maudie Touchton of Belmont, and Mrs. Missouri Lewis of Shreveport four sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Gass of Waskom, Tex., Mrs. Zilla Self of Anacoco, Mrs. Tishia Raushkolb of Leesville, and Mrs. Willie Willis of Natchitoches; 17 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
