The Rev. John M. Wright, pastor of the First Baptist church officiated and burial was in the Greenlawn Memorial Park. A native of Florien, Capt. Duggan have lived in Port Arthur, 37 years. He had been with the Port Arthur fire department since 1949. He had been of duty since becoming ill several months ago. He was a member of the First Baptist church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertha Duggan of Port Arthur; a son, William C. Duggan, with the air force stationed in Miami, Fla,; two daughters, Mrs. Lona Mae Gordon of Denhem Springs, and Mrs. Willa Dean Reynolds of Santa Cruz, Calif.; a brother, Mack Duggan of Florien; two sisters, Mrs. Audrey Keadle of New Orleans and Mrs. Jennie Collyer of Alexandria; and nine grandchildren.
