Fred Warren Deason

  Services for Mr. Fred Warren Deason, 73, of Mansfield, were held
at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 16, at the Drewett Memorial Chapel
in Mansfield. The Rev. Carlos Cole officiated. Burial was at
Mansfield Cemetery.

  Mr. Deason, a retired pipeline worker, died Tuesday, January 14,
1986, in Shreveport, La., after a lengthy illness.

  He is survived by one son, Billy Deason of Marshall, Texas; two
daughters, Brenda Mason of Mansfield, and Sylvia Sherwood of
Converse; fourteen step children; and seven grandchildren; two
brothers, Kenneth Deason of Mamou, and Dalton Deason of Hico; one
sister, Marie Carter of Hico.

  Pallbearers were Jimmy Sherwood, Timmy Lafitte, Boyd Adkison,
Emmett Michel, George Burr, and Bo Goodman.
