Duggan Samuel F. Duggan, 67, of 33 W. Lawrin Blvd, died at 5:26 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 26, in his residence. He was a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel, and a retired buildings manager for the U.S. General Services Administration. He was born Nov. 22, 1921 in Florien, La., to Mack Duggan and Rosabel Nelson Duggan. Survivors include his wife, Helen Smith Duggan; two sons, Dr. Donald E. of Indianapolis, and Michael W. of Terre Haute; two sisters, Mary Duggan, and Rosalie Clinkscales of Florien; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and Korean War, and was a member of Terre Haute First Baptist Church, and Sycamore Country Club. Services were scheduled for 10 a.m., Wednesday, in Callahan and Hughes Funeral Home, with the Rev. Donald Phillips officiating. Burial was in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Dr. Helmut Labrentz, Bud Cottrell, Frank Pottmeyer, Dale Clinkscales, Dennis Weldon, and Roger Lehr. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Wilbur Menke, Robert Jordan, Edwin King, Ralph Greene, Ralph Box, and Austin Lewis.
