E. "Speedy" Duggan Funeral services for T. E. "Speedy" Duggan, 75, of Grand Prairie, Tex., were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 30, at Bean-Massey-Burge Chapel in Grand Prairie, Tex. Dr. Dan Griffin, and Dr. Ernest Duncan officiated. Burial was in Florien Cemetery, under the direction of Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home. T. W. "Speedy" Duggan, a resident of Grand Prairie, passed away Tuesday morning in a Dallas hospital, after several months illness. Born in Florien, he had been a resident of Grand Prairie since 1951. He was a World War II Navy veteran, and served a total of 12 years in the U. S. Navy. He retired in 1980, from the U. S. Postal Service, after 21 years employment as a letter carrier. Mr. Duggan was a member of Christ Fellowship Baptist Church in Grand Prairie. Survivors are his wife, Ruby Duggan of Grand Prairie; two daughters, and sons-in-law, Ann and David Butler, and Debbie and Nathan Barry, all of Austin, Tex.; grandsons, Ryan, and Bonner Butler, and Parker, and Tanner Barry; a brother and sister-in-law, George and Juanita Duggan of Minden; and several nieces and nephews.
