The Rev. Glenn Flenniken officiated. Burial followed in the Central Cemetery in Robeline, under direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Mr. Dockens died Thursday, Feb. 28, in Willis-Knighton Medical Center. He was a native of Provencal, and a retired pipeliner. Survivors include seven sons, Norman H. Dockens of Florien, Curtis G. Dockens of Baton Rouge, Thurman Jack Dockens, and Charles T. Dockens, both of Robeline, Roy Arthur Dockens, and Lonnie Jeff Dockens, both of Many, and Benny Lloyd Dockens of Carlsbad, N. M.; two stepsons, James Ruben Bland of Many, and Henry Walter Bland of Hornbeck; six daughters, Mrs. Margaret Powell of Jal, N. M., Mrs. Retha Campbell of Lake Charles, Mrs. Maxine Cooper of Blossom, Tex., Mrs. Catheryn Flores of Lafayette, Mrs. Elaine McCormic of Conroe, Texas, and Mrs. Joyce Sue Price of Bradenton, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Matthews of Natchitoches, and Mrs. Clara Woodel of Many; 35 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were James Bland, Chester Matthews, Donald Dockens, Randall Dockens, Clarence Dockens, and Waylon Dockens.
