Dickerson Services were conducted at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, for Mr. Arthur A. Dickerson, 69, of Shreveport, on Friday, June 22, at 1 p.m. Officiating was pastor emeritus Jack Merritt of Ingleside Baptist Church. Interment was at Centuries Memorial Park. He entered into rest on Tuesday, June 19, at 7 a.m., at his residence, after a sudden illness. Mr. Dickerson was a native of Winnfield, and lived in Shreveport for 45 years. He was a member of the Carpenters Union, and was self employed as a landscaper. He is survived by six sons, Glenn, Richard, and Joseph Dickerson of Zwolle, Arthur Leroy Dickerson of Houston, Texas, and Donald Ray Dickerson of Longview, Texas. He was also survived by four sisters, one brother, a number of grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
