Dickerson Funeral services for Alice N. Dickerson, 73, of Logansport, La., were held at 10 a.m., on Monday, March 20, 1995, at Maple Springs Baptist Church, with interment following in the First Baptist Cemetery of Joaquin, Texas, under the direction of the Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Logansport Chapel. Rev. Jerry Gary, pastor of Truitt Baptist Church, officiated. Mrs. Dickerson passed away on March 18, 1995, at DeSoto General Hospital in Mansfield, La., after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Dickerson was born in Gilmer, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ranson M. Dickerson Sr. Survivors include two sons, Ranson M. Dickerson Jr. of Mansfield, and Bobby Dickerson and wife Sybil of Logansport; three daughters, Mrs. Alice Malmay and husband Eddie of Zwolle, Mrs. Ida Mae Emerson and husband Johnny of Joaquin, Texas, and Mrs. Irene Windham and husband Martin of Joaquin, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Connell of Smithfield, Va., and Miss Arrene McAllister of Hallsville, Texas; two brothers, S. G. McAllister of Hallsville, Texas, and Jessie McAllister of Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Pallbearers were Eddie Malmay, and Martin Windham.
