Rev. Wayne Jones, pastor of Maple Spring Baptist Church, officiated. Interment was in Bethel Cemetery, Logansport, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Mr. Dickerson passed away on March 10, 1995, at DeSoto General Hospital, following a lengthy illness. Mr. Dickerson worked for Valmack Poultry Processing. Survivors include his widow, Alice Dickerson of Logansport; two sons, Ranson Monroe Dickerson Jr. of Mansfield, and Bobby Dickerson and wife Sybil of Logansport; three daughters, Alice Malmay and husband Eddie of Zwolle, Ida Mae Emerson and husband Johnny, and Irene Windham and husband Martin, both of Joaquin, Tex., and Annie Ruth Stephens of Mansfield; six brothers, M. D. Dickerson, and Wayne Dickerson, both of Shreveport, Allen Dickerson of Logansport, Luther Dickerson of Calif., Jack Dickerson of Timpson, Tex., and Alton Dickerson of Joaquin, Tex. Pallbearers were Bobby Cox, Robert Campbell, Doyle Cox, Jerry Gary, Huey Runnels, and Rev. Red Sullivan. Honorary pallbearers were Eddie Malmay, and Martin Windham.
