Mr. Steven Mark Dowdy

  Mr. Steven Mark Dowdy, 49, died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2000, at his
residence in Florien.

  Graveside Memorial services will be held at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday,
Aug. 29, at Hemphill, Texas.

  Survivors include his mother, Doris Dowdy of Mt. Carmel
Community in Florien; one son, Jesse Dowdy of Little Rock, Ark.;
one brother, Larry Dowdy, and wife Mardee of Mt. Carmel
Community, Florien; nephew Mark Alan; niece Erica; and numerous
maternal aunts and uncles of San Diego County; one grandson,
Kergan of Little Rock, Ark.
