DeWitt Services for Mr. Aubrey L. DeWitt, 48, of Monroe, were held at 4 p.m., Sunday, March 29, at the Chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home, with Rev. Paul Cobb officiating. Burial was in Ogden Cemetery near Liddieville. Mr. DeWitt died Friday, March 27, at his residence in Monroe. Mr. DeWitt was a Certified Public Accountant for John Decket Nissan, and the Controller. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn DeBlieux DeWitt of Monroe; three daughters, Cheryl D. Fortenberry of Winnsboro, Pam DeWitt, and Melissa DeWitt, both of Monroe; mother, Lealis DeWitt of Zwolle; sister, Katherine McCormick of Zwolle; brother, Willard DeWitt of Many; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers were Quincy Adams, Raymond Bennett, Jerry Van Underwood, Ralph (Buddy) Jennings, Allen Rials, and Lester Fairbanks.
