Doris Booth Dowdy

  Doris Booth Dowdy, 76, died April 3, 2002, at her son's home,
after a lengthy illness.

  Private graveside services were held in Hemphill, Texas.
Memorials may be made to a local hospice, and Palliative Care
Organization.

  Survivors include her son, Larry and wife Mardee of Mt. Carmel
community; grandsons, Mark Alan of El Cajon, Calif., and Jessie
of Little Rock, Ark.; brothers, Edward, Lewis, Frank, Roger,
Glen, and Alan; and sister, Shirley Hamilton, all of San Diego,
County; sisters, Rosa Pittman of Concord, Calif., and Jean Flower
of Corona, Calif.; brothers, Wilbur of Northglenn, Colo., Richard
of Lexington, Ky., Jerry of Augusta Ga., and James of Strafford,
Mo.

  She was preceded in death by one son, Steven Mark; and brother,
Robert Booth.
