  Funeral services for Lela O. Diettel, 73, of Bossier City, were
held Tuesday, August 6, 1996, at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home,
Hwy 80 East, Bossier City/ Haughton, at 9 a.m. Officiating was
Rev. Robert Beadle of Benton First Baptist Church, where Mrs.
Diettel was a member. Interment was at 11:30 a.m., at Old Pisgah
Cemetery near Marthaville.

  She entered into rest Sunday, August 4, in Bossier City, after a
lengthy illness. Mrs. Diettel was a native of Belmont, and lived
in Bossier City for 25 years.

  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rachel V. Diettel.

  She is survived by two daughters, Patsy Dickerson, and Kathryn
Diettel, both of Bossier City; three sons, Glyn Tibbits of
Haughton, Mike Diettel of Tampa, and Rudy Diettel of Houston; and
a large number of grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
