The Sabine Index - Young L. Dowden

  27 Jun 1947 - Funeral rites for Young L. Dowden, age 88 years,
who died after a long illness, were conducted 2 p.m. Saturday
from Oak Grove Baptist church, near Hornbeck by Rev. Smith.
Interment was under direction Massingill funeral home.

  Deceased is survived by a daughter, Mrs. F. R. Richardson, New
Orleans.

  Mr. Dowden worked 10 years for the KCS railway but was retired
at the time of his death.
