Huey Dowden

  Huey P. Dowden, 49, of Anacoco, died Friday, Feb. 27.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, March 1, in Beech
Grove Methodist Church, with the Rev. I. D. Noble, the Rev. Bud
McCullough, and the Rev. Wesley Harralson officiating. Burial was
in the church cemetery.

  Survivors include his widow; two sons, William R. Dowden, and
Steven W. Dowden, both of Anacoco; one daughter, Mrs. Edna Ruth
Bailey of Anacoco; parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Dowden of Anacoco;
four brothers, Hubert Dowden, and Edwin Dowden, both of Texas
City, Tex., William Dowden of Natchitoches, and Joseph Dowden of
Anacoco; two sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Withers of Anacoco, and Mrs.
Eunice Trahan of Lubbock, Tex.; and three grandchildren.
