Jennie F. Dowden

  Mrs. Jennie F. Dowden, 89, died in the Fraser Hospital, on
November 18, at 4:25 a.m., after a long illness.

  Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 19, at 2 p.m., in the
Prewitt's Chapel, with the Rev. James Flannigan, and the Rev.
Robert Graham officiating. Burial was in the Church cemetery,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Surviving relatives are two sons, L. J. Dowden, and Arnold
Dowden, both of Hornbeck; four daughters, Mrs. Trudie Sneed, Mrs.
Irene Cabra of Hornbeck, and Mrs. Rowena Mitchell, and Mrs. Inez
Marze of Anacoco; 42 grandchildren, 87 great grandchildren, and 8
great-great grandchildren.
