The Sabine Index - Mrs. Margarie Dowden

  31 Oct 1941 - Last rites for Mrs. Margarie Dowden, age 81 years,
were held 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kisatchie church, Rev. Russell
T. Pynes officiating. Dennis-Green funeral home directing,
interment in the Kisatchie cemetery.

  Surviving are one son, Thomas M. Dowden, Besbie, Ariz; six
daughters, Mrs. Lou McDaniels of Hornbeck, Mrs. Nora Bell Rhodes
of Robeline, Mrs. Ada Brown of Shreveport, Mrs. Nettie Rhodes of
Bellwood, Mrs. Ellen Dowden of Shreveport and Gertie Key of Many;
28 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren.
