  James A. Dowden - November 22, 1973

  James A. Dowden, 87, of Leesville, died in Many on Wednesday,
Nov. 14 at 4 a.m. after an extended illness.

  Dowden is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services were held on Thursday, Nov. 15 at 2 p.m. in the
Middle Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. George Warner
officiating. Burial was in the Middle Creek Cemetery.
