Warren Douglas Dowden

  Services for Warren Douglas Dowden, age 47, will be Wednesday,
Sept. 13, at 2 p.m., at the First Baptist Church of Many, with
interment at the Ft. Jesup Cemetery. Rev. Bob Chadwick, and Rev.
Bob Spear will officiate.

  Mr. Dowden was born Aug. 1, 1948, in Many, to Huey and Oma
Dowden. He passed away in Houston, Texas, Sept. 9. He is survived
by his wife, June Dowden; and a son, Ryan, both of Eagle River,
Alaska; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Huey Dowden of Many; a sister,
Kay Ashy of Lafayette; a brother, Mike Dowden of Baton Rouge;
several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

  Visitation was at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Tuesday, Sept.
12.
