Mrs. Nettie Dowden

  Mrs. Nettie Dowden, 78, of Leesville, died at Broyles Hospital
in Leesville, April 18, after an extended illness.

  Funeral services were held in the Middle Creek Baptist Church,
April 19, with the Rev. George Werner, and the Rev. Arthur Haymon
officiating. Burial was in the Middle Creek Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Surviving relatives include her husband, Andrew Dowden of
Leesville; one brother, Odus Pantalion of Florien; and two
sisters, Mrs. Mary Ann Goins of Zwolle, and Mrs. Stetara Sales of
Haughton.

  Pallbearers were Douglas Pantalion, Lanice Sales, Ted Pantalion,
O. V. Sales, Lyncel Ellzey, and Edwin Brown.
