Mrs. Ellie W. Dowden

  Mrs. Ellie W. Dowden of Lake Charles, died Saturday, July 17, in
the Ville Platte Medical Center.

  Funeral services were held Monday, in the Holly Grove Methodist
Church, with the Rev. Floyd Haymon officiating.

  Burial was in the church cemetery, under the direction of Hixson
Funeral Home of Leesville.

  Mrs. Dowden, a native of Anacoco, had lived at Lake Charles for
the past 15 years.

  Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Trudy Jett of Hornbeck.
