Jiles J. Dowden

  Funeral services for Jiles J. Dowden, age 55, who died March 7,
was conducted at Pruitt's Chapel, at 2 p.m., March 8, with Rev.
Robert Graham, and Rev. Eddie Holmes officiating. Interment was
in the church cemetery, under the direction of Warren Funeral
Home.

  Pallbearers were nephews.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Inez Dowden of Hornbeck; sons,
Bobby G., Billy E., and Charles A., all of Hornbeck; daughters,
Mrs. Carroll Gibson, and Mrs. Michael Hyatt, both of Hornbeck;
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry W. Dowden of Hornbeck; brothers, L.
C., L. J., and Arnold Dowden, all of Hornbeck; sisters, Mrs. Leon
Sneed, Mrs. Floyd Cabra, both of Hornbeck, Mrs. Luther Marze of
Anacoco, Mrs. Roy Mitchell of Shreveport; six grandchildren.
