Ellis Taylor Dowden

  Last rites for Ellis Taylor Dowden, age 35, who died Oct. 19,
was conducted at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church at 3 p.m., Oct. 21,
with Rev. H. H. Tibbitts, and Rev. Robert Graham officiating.
Interment was in the church cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were John Reed Tarver, Bill Corley, Louie Raiford,
Bryce McCollough, Elton Smith, and W. H. Taylor.

  Survivors are his father, Clyde Dowden of Florien, brothers,
Huey Dowden of El Paso, Texas, Wingate Dowden of Many; sisters,
Mrs. Vivian Herrington, Mrs. Maggie Lee McGee, both of Florien,
Mrs. Clydell Kile of Homestead, Fla., and Mrs. Bobbie Raiford of
Many.
