Mrs. W. L. Daily

  Of interest to many friends and relatives in this area, is the
death of Mrs. W. Luther Daily of Texarkana. She was 92 years old.

  She was a native of Bayou Scie Community near Zwolle. Mrs. Daily
was Retta Belle Vines, and was the last immediate survivor of the
Asa Vines Sr. family. She was one of seven children.

  She married Mr. Daily in 1904, and to this union was born four
children. Her husband preceeded her in death in 1949. She also
lost a son, Glen, in death.

  She is survived by a son, Burton E. Daily, and two daughters,
Mrs. Agnes Clingan, and Mrs. Malava Hill, all of Texarkana; 18
grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, and 5
great-great-grandchildren.

  Burial was in the family plot in Texarkana.
