Willis Lester Dewil

  Willis Lester Dewil of Florien, died in St. Paul's Hospital in
Dallas, Tex., on Monday, Nov. 20, at 6 p.m., following an
extended illness. He was 50.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Nell Dewil; one son, Lester
Dewil of Dallas, Tex.; one daughter, Debbie Dewil of Dallas,
Tex.; one brother, Arthur B. Dewil of Sumpter, South Carolina;
four half brothers, Eugene Lofton, and Levon Lofton, both of
Shreveport, Chester Lofton of Hornbeck, and Leroy Lofton of
Germany; two half sisters, Linda Lofton, and Faye Brannon, both
of Shreveport; and one grandson.

  Funeral services were held at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church
on Friday, Nov. 24, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Homer Fondren
officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, under the
direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
