Mrs. Mary Dowell

  Mrs. Mary Dowell, 93, died in Mansfield, after a short illness.

  Funeral services were held at 4 p.m., May 5, in the Drewett
Funeral Home, with the Rev. Cecil Salley officiating. Burial was
in the Spring Ridge Cemetery.

  Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Lida L. Phillips of
Opelousas, Miss Jewell Dowell of Pleasant Hill, Mrs. Verna
Jackson of Pleasant Hill, Mrs. Odessa Copeland of Mansfield, Mrs.
Norma McCullough of Mansfield; one son, James Dowell of Little
Rick, Ark.; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
