Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., June 1, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Toro, with interment following at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Jimmie Evans, and the Rev. Wilton Anthony officiated. Survivors include her husband, Willie Dewil of Florien; son Raymond Dewil and wife Linda; and daughter, Loretta Law, all of Stonewall; daughter, Jaquetta Dailey and husband Tommy, Joe Dewil and wife Jeannet, and Cricket Withers and husband David, all of Florien; three sisters, Dorothy Satkamp of Panama City, Fla., Gwen Wilkerson of Shreveport, and Cumiea Rains of Florien; life-long friend, Sylvia Brown of Florien; sister-in-law, Betty McCollister of Mooringsport; 14 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, J. A., and Frankie McCollister. Pallbearers were grandsons, John Dailey, Joe Dewil Jr., Chuck Withers, and Charlie Law; and grandsons-in-law, Carney Chamberlain, Mark McMillian, Vic Ortiz, and Mike McComic. Warren Meadows, Many, La.
