Howard P. (Pat) Doles, Jr.

  Services for Mr. Howard P. (Pat) Doles, Jr., 67, of Shreveport,
were held Friday, November 16, at 10 a.m., at Rose-Neath's
Marshall St. Chapel, with Dr. B. W. Cook, pastor of Kings Highway
Christian Church, officiating. Burial was at Blanchard Cemetery.

  Mr. Doles died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 1984, at the V. A. Medical
Center in Shreveport, of a lengthy illness.

  Mr. Doles, a native of Moorengsport, had been a resident of
Shreveport for 20 years, and a member of Mangum Memorial United
Methodist Church. He was a Ret. S. Sgt., with the U. S. Air
Force. He was a veteran of World War II, the Korean Conflict, and
Vietnam Conflict.

  He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Monette Bowman of Noble, La.;
one brother, Samuel D. Doles of Shreveport; two nephews; two
nieces; and one great nephew.
