The Rev. John Scarf officiated. Burial was at Forest Park Cemetery, under the direction of Osborn Funeral Home. Mrs. DeLoach, a resident of Shreveport for 25 years, died at 3:30 a.m., Saturday, November 16, 1985, at Willis-Knighton Medical Center, after a sudden illness. She was a native of Winnfield, La., and a former resident of Zwolle, La. Mrs. DeLoach attended LSU in Baton Rouge, UCLA, and Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, La. She was a 50 year member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Shreveport Symphony Guild. Mrs. DeLoach taught piano and organ for over 30 years, was a church musician for many years, and was a member of the North Highland United Methodist Church, the Justice Sunday School Class, and the U.M.W. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Marjorie McGoldrick of Shreveport; one granddaughter, Mrs. Pamela Arnoult of Covington, La.; five great grandchildren, Donald Arnoult, Jr., Denon Arnoult, Christopher Arnoult, Currie Arnoult, and Bronson Arnoult, all of Covington, La.; five brothers, Willard Meek of Lake Charles, La., Harry Meek of Hesperia, Calif., Robert R. Meek of Shreveport, James Meek of Silver Springs, Md., and Albert Meek of Fort Worth, Texas; one sister, Ethel Meek of Shreveport. Pallbearers were Carl Corley, Powell Layton, Jon T. Oliver, E. A. Freeman, Cy Simon, Donald Arnoult, Jr., Christopher Arnoult, and Kennon Arnoult. Honorary pallbearer was James Kennedy.
