Raymond Dahlquist

  Double funeral rites for Raymond Dahlquist, 34, and his son,
Glen Dahlquist, 7, who drowned in Toledo Bend Lake, Saturday
morning, were held at 2 p.m., Monday, in the Hargrove Baptist
Church in DeQuincy. Burial was in the DeQuincy Cemetery.

  The man and his son drowned near the dam in Sabine County, Tex.
Their bodies were recovered by rescue units Sunday afternoon.

  According to Sabine County Sheriff B. Greer, Dahlquist and his
two sons were coming into a landing, and their fishing boat
struck a pipe sticking out of the water. The younger Dahlquist
fell from the boat, and the father jumped into the lake and
attempted to rescue him, and both drowned.
