Mrs. DeLacerda is survived by two sons, Arthur DeLacerda of Many, and Eugene DeLacerda of Natchitoches; one daughter, Mrs. Gladys Bell of Liberty, Miss.; three brothers, Andrew and Arnold Hargis of Natchitoches, Goode Hargis of Shreveport; four sisters, Mrs. Myrtle White of Greenwood, Mrs. Earl Winegart of Oakdale, Mrs. Eunice Boydston of Natchitoches, and Mrs. Annie Eaven of Natchitoches; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Natchitoches, and a retired schoolteacher of Natchitoches Parish. Funeral services were held at the Warren Meadows Funeral Chapel on Sunday, Sept. 9 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Bill Sirman officiating. Burial was at the St. John Cemetery in Cloutierville. Pallbearers were Ray Hargis, Bill Boydston, Edmond DeLacerda, Don Hargis, M. H. Boydston, and Kendal Boydston.
