"Buddy" Doolittle Services for Mines W. "Buddy" Doolittle, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, August 10, 1993, in Shamrock Advent Christian Church. Burial was held in the church cemetery, under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Mr. Doolittle, 70, of Shreveport, died at 9:10 a.m., Sunday, August 8, 1993, in Physicians and Surgeons Hospital in Shreveport. Mr. Doolittle was a native of Robeline. He was a retired postal clerk for the U.S. Post Office in Shreveport. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was a member of Shamrock Advent Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, Janie Doolittle of Shreveport; two sons, Michael W. and his wife Sue Doolittle of Mandeville, and John L. Doolittle of Robeline; four sisters, Bernice Brock of Shreveport, Mary Jones of Robeline, Minnie Sirman of Benton, and June Lee of Natchitoches; two brothers, Johnnie Doolittle of Robeline, and Floyd Doolittle of Atlanta, Ga.; and three grandchildren.
