Doolittle Funeral services for John L. Doolittle, age 79, who died Nov. 27, were conducted at Shamrock Advent Christ Church, at 2 p.m., Nov. 28, with Rev. Oliver Prothro officiating. Interment was in charge of the Warren Funeral Home. Pallbearers were his nephews. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Anna Doolittle of Robeline; four sons, Johnnie C., and Hyman L. Doolittle, both of Robeline, Mines W. Doolittle of Shreveport, and Floyd Q. Doolittle of Many; five daughters, Mrs. Bernice D. Roe, and Mrs. W. R. Sirmon, both of Shreveport, Mrs. T. A. Carnline of Fort Belvoir, Va., Mrs. A. W. Jones of Natchitoches, Mrs. W. R. Lee of New Iberia; three brothers, C. R., M. R., and Hubert Doolittle, all of Robeline; four sisters, Mrs. M. L. Youngblood of Robeline, Mrs. Willie Bains, and Mrs. E. R. Brown, both of Provencal, Mrs. Buren Dyess of Logansport; 20 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
