DeLatin 23 Jun 1939 - Last rites for Henry J. DeLatin, age 67 years, who died suddenly Friday evening, were held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at St. John's church with Father J. A. Benoit saying the requiem mass and Father John C. Vandegaer making the funeral talk. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery. Funeral directed by the Dennis-Green funeral home. Active pallbearers were six nephews of the deceased: H. DeLatin, Milburn and Truman Vaco, P. F. DeKeyzer, P. J. and Wallace DeLatin. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. DeLatin; two daughters, Miss Gladys DeLatin and Mrs. T. E. Ryan ; one son, J. B.; brother, Tom DeLatin, and one sister, Mrs. Julia DeKeyzer. Mr. DeLatin had spent practically his entire life in Many, following the building contracting business, lately just completed the supervision of the construction of the city hall and fire station here.
