Mrs. Velma Dalton

  Mrs. Velma Arlene Dalton, 53, of Florien, died Sunday, June 10.

  Funeral services were held Monday, June 11, at 4 p.m., in the
Florien Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mack Brister, and the Rev.
Clarence Welch officiating. Burial was in the Florien Cemetery,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include her husband; one son, Paul Gregory Dalton; her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Davis; one sister, Mrs. Carlena Lee;
four brothers, Herman B. Davis, Reginald R. Davis, Sr., of
Westlake, George A. Davis of Monroe, and James Lynn Davis of
Many; and a number of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were Huey Dalton, Don Dalton, Lester Savell, Edger
Savell, David Davis, and Reggie Davis.
