Newton P. Dalton

  Funeral services for Newton P. Dalton, 79, were held at 4 p.m.,
Monday, Oct. 22, at the Florien First Baptist Church. Interment
followed in the Florien Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. Mack Brister, and Rev. Dean Crittenden
officiated.

  Mr. Dalton passed away at the Schumpert Hospital in Shreveport,
at 10:20 p.m., Oct. 19.

  He is survived by one son, Paul Dalton; one daughter-in-law,
Rebecca Cox; two grandchildren, Jerry Allen Cox, and Brandie
Nichole Cox.
