J. M. Pate conducting the services at First Baptist church here, where a large crowd of her old friends had assembled. Mrs. Dillon was born and reared near Many and had made her home here for many years after her marriage. She died in an Alexandria hospital after an illness of several months. For the past few years she had made her home in Houston, Texas, with her son. The near relatives surviving her are: one son, E. C. Dillon of Houston, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Don E. SoRelle of Houston, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Will Duggan of Oklahoma; a brother, Eli Self of Leesville; and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins, as well as friends to mourn her passing.
