D. Dillon, who died in Fort Worth, Texas, Saturday afternoon following a few hours illness, were held at Calvary Baptist church Tuesday afternoon at 2:30. Rev. H. D. Scott officiated, assisted by Rev. A. T. Bolton, pastor of Calvary Baptist church. Interment in Many cemetery. The Dennis-Green funeral home was in charge of arrangements. Active pallbearers were J. A. Aldredge, H. P. Aldredge, W. W. Aldredge, J. J. Blake, A. R. Peterson and J. B. Vandegaer. Mrs. Dillon is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Simpson of Many; three children, Pat Aldredge of Fort Worth, Texas, Jack Aldredge of U. S. army and Mrs. L. C. Morgan, Jr., of Fort Worth, Texas; five brothers, Johnnie Simpson of El Dorado, Ark., Hamp Simpson of Ville Platte; Horace Simpson of Lake Charles, Aubrey Simpson of the U. S. navy, Miami, Fla., Mike Simpson of the U.S. army, North Africa; six sisters, Miss Clara Simpson, Mrs. Fred Flanniken, Mrs. Edward Mitchell and Mrs. Willard Mitchell, all of Many, Mrs. Wilmer Bush of West Monroe, Mrs. L. W. Adams of Camp Howze, Texas; three step-sons, Arthur Aldredge of Port Arthur, Texas, Herman Aldredge of Natchez, Miss., and Welden Aldredge of Shreveport. Ms. Dillon joined the Baptist church when quite young and was a church member of Calvary Baptist church at her death. She was a good wife and mother and those who knew her loved her.
