Interment was at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Mrs. Dalme passed away Sunday, July 14, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Hospital. She was a native of Noble, a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, and Friends of the Natchitoches Court House Museum. She was a charter member of Natchitoches Service League, Natchitoches Art Guild, Natchitoches Country Club, Natchitoches Historical Foundation. She is survived by one son, John Richard Dalme Jr. of Natchitoches; two daughters, Suzanne Dalme Wood of Baton Rouge, Patricia Dalme Lallande of Morgan City; one sister, Theo Russell Evenson of Atlanta, Ga.; seven grandchildren, Kesston Shields, Clayton Shields, Piper Shields, Christopher Wood, Jason Wood, Kathryn Sparks, Shelley Sparks; two great grandchildren, Tyler Shields, and Taylor Shields. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Richard Dalme Sr. Pallbearers were Christopher Wood, Jason Wood, Kesston Shields, Clayton Shields, Michael Evans, Russell Sparks, Michael Evenson, and Russel Evenson. Honorary pallbearers were Sylvian LaVesscor, Ronald Sparks, Michael Bowen, Nolton Causey, Leslie Lallande, Robert Crew, Tom Murchison, and Archie Dalme.
