Luther Leslie Dillard

  Mr. Luther Leslie Dillard, 79, of Pleasant Hill, passed away on
Monday, March 31, 1986, at 10 p.m.

  He was born in Ft. Jesup, to Theodric Allen Dillard, and Emma
Lou Weeks Dillard on Mar. 17, 1907, and worked as a self employed
merchant.

  Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Apr. 2, at 2 p.m., at
the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with Rev. Jim Lofton, and Rev.
Gayle Dean officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery,
under the direction of T. J. Drewett Funeral Home, Inc., of
Mansfield.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sadie Gregory Dillard of
Pleasant Hill; one son, Bobby Luther Dillard of Mansfield; two
daughters, Mrs. Beth Dillard Lofton of Pineville, and Mrs. Due
Dillard Griffin of Monroe; one brother, Hoyt Dillard of
Mansfield; two sisters, Mrs. Maudie Ross of Pleasant Hill, and
Mrs. Viola Simpson of Mansfield; 11 grandchildren; and six great
grandchildren.
