Gregory Dillard Sadie B. Gregory Dillard, 87, died Wednesday, May 2, 2001, at North Monroe Hospital, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Dillard graduated from Louisiana State Normal College, now NSU, and taught school in Pleasant Hill for a short time. In the later years, she assisted her late husband Luther L. Dillard in administering the Food Stamp Program in Sabine Parish. She was a long time member, and teacher at First Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill, and was currently a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Mansfield. Funeral services were held Friday, May 4, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield, with interment following in Pleasant Hill. The Rev. Jim Lofton officiated, and the Rev. John Griffin, and the Rev. Jim Reynolds assisted. Survivors include one son, Bobby L. Dillard and wife Sue of Mansfield; two daughters, Beth D. Lofton and husband Jim of Pineville, and Sue D. Griffin and husband John of Monroe; one brother, F. T. Gregory of Mansfield; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; four step grandchildren; 12 step great grandchildren; three step great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Pallbearers were Mike Lofton, Ken Dillard, Donnie Sistrunk, Jeff Thomas, Danny Taylor, Paul Means, Buddy McCullin, and Joel White. Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Mansfield, La.
