Mertie Bell Dillard

  Funeral services for Mrs. Mertie Bell Dillard, 89, of Robeline,
were held Friday, April 19, 1996, at Holly Grove Nazarene Church.
Interment followed at Rocky Mount Cemetery, with Rev. Glenn
Flenniken, and Rev. J. D. Shaw officiating. Speaker was Glenn
Hardy.

  Mrs. Dillard passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 1996, at Sabine
Medical Center.

  She is survived by two sons, Beuford Dillard of Natchitoches,
Euel C. Dillard of Robeline; three daughters, Geneva Jenkins, and
Betty Mitchell, both of Robeline, and Carmelia Miller of
Natchitoches; two sisters, Gertie Patrick of Ragley, Joyce Smith
of Natchitoches; one brother, Harvey Arthur of Shreveport; 19
grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 12 great-great
grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
