Dean Mrs. Villa Chloe Allen Dean, 89, of Many, died Thursday, Nov. 1, in Fraser Hospital, following a short illness. Born in Birch Tree, Mo., Mrs. Dean spent most of her married life in Winn Parish near Calvin. She moved to Many in 1950. Funeral services were held Sunday, Nov. 4, at 2 p.m., in the Many United Pentecostal Church, with the Rev. James Stringer, and Rev. Danny Keyes of Winnfield officiating. Burial followed in the Zwolle Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Survivors include three sons, Bill Dean of Many, Julius R. Dean of Denver, Colo., and Thomas A. Dean of Ferriday; four daughters, Edna Curtis, and Mary Belle Davis, both of Many, Annie Laura Bundrick of Winnfield, and Katie Carol McCallum of Shreveport; 19 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchildren.
