Lela Mae Dean

  Funeral services were held for Lela Mae Dean, 57, on Wednesday,
Feb. 11, at the Providence Baptist Church in Rosepine, at 2 p.m.

  Mrs. Dean, who is from Florien, died at the LSU Medical Center
in Shreveport on Monday, Feb. 9, at 3:10 p.m.

  Mrs. Dean, who is survived by her husband, Raymond D. Dean,
Florien; three sons, Daniel Wayne Dean, Fresno, Calif., Charles
Knight, Augusta, Georgia, and Raymond D. Dean, Florien; four
daughters, Reginsa Sue Stanley, Oakdale, Sharon F. Johnson,
Rosepine, Betty J. Dean, and Barbara J. Dean, both of Florien;
four brothers, Elmer Knight, Vidor, Tex., Mark Knight, Anchorage,
Alaska, Thomas P. Knight, Rosepine, and Ralph Knight, Houston,
Tex.; five sisters, Velma Lockhart, Ruth Bailey, Velra James, all
of Rosepine, Dora Blanchard, DeRidder, and Agnes Sensabough,
Bride Baths, Va.; and 13 grandchildren.
