Lawson Alert Dean, Jr.

  Mr. Lawson Albert Dean, Jr. of Shreveport, died at the LSU
Medical Center in Shreveport, Tuesday, Jan. 29, 1985, at 7:30
a.m. He was 58.

  Funeral services for Mr. Dean will be conducted Thursday, Jan.
31, at 2 p.m., in the First Baptist Church of Zwolle. Officiating
will be Bro. Harrison McCoy, and Bro. Walter Ledford. Interment
was in Zwolle Cemetery. Services were under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Many.

  He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Lillie Dean of Shreveport;
three sons, Mark Dean, Baytown, Tex., Joey Dean, Mansfield, and
Edward Dean, Zwolle; two daughters, Mrs. Becky McGee, Houston,
Tex., and Mrs. Colleen Parrie, Zwolle; two brothers, Sandy Dean,
Houston, Tex., and Jack Dean, Natchitoches; and three
grandchildren.
