Andrew Leonard Dunn, Jr.

  Services for Mr. Andrew Leonard Dunn, Jr., 85, of Springhill,
were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 4, at the Bailey Mortuary
Chapel in Springhill. The Rev. Paul Cassels officiated, assisted
by the Rev. J. W. Ritchie. Burial, with Masonic graveside rites,
were at Springhill Cemetery.

  Mr. Dunn, a resident of Springhill for 17 years, died Tuesday,
June 2, 1987, in Springhill, after a long illness. He was a
native of the Grove Community in Webster Parish. Mr. Dunn was a
retired employee of International Paper Co., with 18 years of
service, and a U. S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a 64
year member of the Dorcheat Masonic Lodge No. 276 F & AM, in
Grove Community. Mr. Dunn was Methodist.

  He is survived by his wife, Nora Carraway Dunn of Springhill; a
step son, J. L. Carraway of Springhill; two step daughters,
Martha Simpson of Springhill, and Mildred Heron of Mitchell, La.;
two sisters, Noma Gleason of Shreveport, and Ruby Morgan of
Springhill; two step grandchildren; and 13 step great
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Masons.
