The Rev. Paul Cassels officiated, assisted by the Rev. J. W. Ritchie. Burial, with Masonic graveside rites, were at Springhill Cemetery. Mr. Dunn, a resident of Springhill for 17 years, died Tuesday, June 2, 1987, in Springhill, after a long illness. He was a native of the Grove Community in Webster Parish. Mr. Dunn was a retired employee of International Paper Co., with 18 years of service, and a U. S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a 64 year member of the Dorcheat Masonic Lodge No. 276 F & AM, in Grove Community. Mr. Dunn was Methodist. He is survived by his wife, Nora Carraway Dunn of Springhill; a step son, J. L. Carraway of Springhill; two step daughters, Martha Simpson of Springhill, and Mildred Heron of Mitchell, La.; two sisters, Noma Gleason of Shreveport, and Ruby Morgan of Springhill; two step grandchildren; and 13 step great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Masons.
