Mrs. Etta Downs

  Funeral services for Mrs. Etta Downs, 54, were held at 2 p.m., June 30, in the First
Baptist Church in Pineland, Tex., with the Rev. J. S. Marcantile officiating. Burial was
in the Brookland Cemetery, under the direction of the J. O. Stringer Funeral Home of
Jasper.

  Mrs. Downs died June 29 in a Jasper hospital after a long illness.

  Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Leona McClanahan of Many.
