Dans Sr. Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, in Rose-Neath Funeral Home, for Thomas Lincoln Dans Sr., 60, who died Tuesday in El Reno, Okla., following a long illness. Officiating was the Rev. W. E. Spencer, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Zwolle. Burial was in Forest Park West Cemetery. Mr. Dans was a member of Hines Chapter 54, F&AM, DeRidder, Kelly Memorial Baptist Church, Veterans of Foreigh Wars, and the American Legion. Survivors include his widow; two sons, Thomas L. Dans Jr., and Dennis R. Dans, both of Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. Johnnie Teer Jr., and Mrs. Irba Davis, both of Baton Rouge; one brother, Walter Dans of Jonesville; four sisters, Mrs. Virgie Moses of Vivian, Mrs. Maudie Lewis of Mansfield, Mrs. Ivis Moses of Converse, and Mrs. Evie Clark of Natchitoches, and four grandchildren.
