Mrs. Bill Dans

  Mrs. Bill Dans, 69, of Marthaville, died in a Converse hospital
Saturday morning.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 11, in the
Jennings Chapel Congregational Methodist Church, with the Rev.
Sammie Mitchell officiating. Burial was in the Bethany Cemetery,
under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home.

  Survivors include her husband; five sons, Jessie Dans of
Deweyville, Tex., Thurman Dans of Beuna, Tex., Floyd Dans, and
Bill Dans, Jr., both of Marthaville, and Ronnie Dans of Orange,
Tex.; three daughters, Mrs. Irma Rachel, and Mrs. Linda Brewster,
both of Shreveport, and Mrs. Barbara Smith of Charleston, W. Va.;
one brother, Dalford Davis of Oak Grove; four sisters, Mrs.
Blanche Shirley of Mansfield, Mrs. Allie Birdwell, Mrs. Lois
Durr, and Mrs. Pearl Durr, all of Marthaville; 28 grandchildren,
and on great grandchild.
