Jesse F. Downs

  Funeral services for Jesse F. Downs, 54, of San Antonio, Tex.,
were held Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 1:30 p.m., at Ebernsberger
Funeral Home Chapel in Boerne, Tex. Burial was in Ft. Sam Houston
National Cemetery, with full military honors.

  He died Monday, Oct. 26, at the Oak Hills Care Center, following
a lengthy illness.

  Survivors include his widow, Opal Downs of San Antonio; his
mother, Sarah Downs of Florien; one daughter, Debbie of
Jonesville; four brothers, Jesse C. of Fisher, John, Henry, and
Clifton, all of Florien; and three nephews; and two nieces.
